Keep it Colorado is a nonprofit coalition of conservation organizations working to protect the lands and waters that define our state. They are intent on creating a future in which conservation, protection and stewardship are priorities for Colorado’s communities.

Keep It Colorado is the only coalition in Colorado that is elevating the voice of organizations doing on-the-ground private lands conservation – and they do this by bringing together multiple sectors to advance conservation across this great state.

Protect Our Winters helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change. We are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations.

Our goal? Achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. To get there, we believe the world must embrace renewable energy, electric transportation, carbon pricing policies and prevent fossil fuel extraction on our public lands. Fortunately, achieving goals is no problem for the outdoor community.

Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is the state’s oldest outdoor stewardship nonprofit organization. Since 1984, VOC has been motivating and enabling people to become active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources.

Each year, VOC engage thousands of people to provide a volunteer workforce for recreation and habitat improvement projects in partnership with land agencies, nonprofits, and community groups. These volunteer projects take place in every corner of Colorado and over the decades, they’ve grown beyond their projects – and their borders – to help others start and improve their own volunteer stewardship programs and inspire all of us to find our place in caring for the outdoors
